Housekeeper vocational training

  • Completion of the vocational qualification
    or
  • a qualification recognized as equivalent
  • Training contract
  • Part-time lessons
  • Successful attendance of the type I vocational school for home economics/social work or the type II vocational school for home economics/social work or the higher vocational school for home economics is counted as the first year of training.
  • “State-certified housekeeper”
  • Acquisition of the qualified secondary school leaving certificate I

if overall grade point average of at least 3.0 and sufficient knowledge of foreign languages (5 years)

  • 3 years of dual training (company and school)
    Teaching component: 1440 hours in total
  • 1st year of training: basic vocational training, 2nd and 3rd year of training: specialist vocational training
  • Part-time lessons
  • Successful attendance of the type I vocational school for home economics/social work or the type II vocational school for home economics/social work or the higher vocational school for home economics is counted as the first year of training.

  • Specialist housekeeper for outpatient services
  • Housekeeping manager
  • Intermediate examination after the 3rd semester of training
  • State-certified final examination at the end of the training (written and practical in accordance with the training regulations for housekeepers dated March 19, 2020, as defined in Section 4 (1) of the Vocational Training Act)
