On Friday, 27.06.2025, 70 newly qualified educators celebrated their graduation at BBS Alice Salomon in the best weather and in a great atmosphere.

“All the exams have been written, all the presentations have been given. You now have the pen for your pedagogical concept in your own hands.” Principal Doris Schulte-Schwering opened her speech with these words. Looking back, she compared the three-year training course to a hike up a 4,000-metre mountain, which was rewarded at the end with a magnificent view and the pride of having made it. “And now your professional life lies ahead of you,” said Doris Schulte-Schwering, “and you have it in your hands to write your pedagogical concept.” She emphasized the importance of intangible values for the profession of educator, such as trust and gratitude, but also faith, love and hope.

In conclusion, she thanked all colleagues who put their heart and soul into the training of educators, but also the graduates who brought their personality to the school and from whom we teachers could also learn a lot.
The students also thanked their teachers with emotional speeches and colorful flowers. They proudly accepted their certificates.
And of course, the best students were also honored. These were Natascha Schwarz, Selina Heimbach-Yang and Cindy Schmidt, who received a book gift from their teachers Birgit Mecklenburg, Ulrike Köhler-Raithelhuber and Nadine Schellinger.
And as always, after the official part, students, teachers and parents enjoyed a sumptuous buffet!
