The celebratory week to mark the 125th anniversary of Alice Salomon School would not have had the same impact without the extraordinary commitment and dedication of our home economics team. With impressive dedication and a passion that could be felt in every detail, our home economics colleagues, the entire team and numerous pupils spent weeks planning, testing and preparing. The result was more than impressive – it was a real culinary highlight. From savory dishes to sweet delicacies, from small snacks to artfully prepared menus – each dish was a masterpiece in itself. Fresh, creative and prepared with love, the pleasure could be experienced in every single meal. The variety of dishes and the high quality not only delighted the palate, but also spoiled the eye. Particularly noteworthy was the fact that challenging projects such as the FinGerFood project with our Finnish partner school and the 34th national home economics competition took place at the same time as the festival.

Despite these additional challenges, the organization of the catering in the Stadthalle in Linz and in the school itself was extremely precise and well thought out. It was noticeable at every single point that there was a great deal of commitment and passion behind everything. Our heartfelt thanks go to the entire housekeeping team. Your dedication, professionalism and enjoyment of your work made this week of festivities an unforgettable experience. We are proud of you and infinitely grateful for everything you have done – and continue to do. You were instrumental in making this anniversary such a special moment for our school community.
