Vocational school for nursing and technical school for geriatric nursing assistance
On Thursday, 11.07.2024, at 11:00 a.m. the time had come. In a festively decorated auditorium, 35 nursing graduates received their certificates. “What makes your profession so special?” asked principal Doris Schulte-Schwering in her speech. “Nursing is always with people. When the doctor leaves, the nurse comes and stays. They provide care until the end.” Doris Schulte-Schwering was quoting Christine Vogler, President of the German Nursing Council.
Head of department Elmar Kanschik and the class leaders of FS AH, Marco Gilles and Dieter Wolters, as well as Jörg Goldelius, class leader of BF P, also paid tribute to the graduates’ achievements and congratulated them warmly. Marco Gilles made hope the theme of his speech: “And if I knew that the world would end tomorrow, I would plant an apple tree today”, the alleged quote from Martin Luther. Dieter Wolters held out a rose for all of his students, and Jörg Goldelius reminded the nursing staff in his speech that they should always be aware of the reasons for their actions.
The graduates were not sparing with applause and gifts for their teachers and also expressed their heartfelt thanks to their practical instructors. And Kyle Krämer, newly qualified nursing specialist and student representative at the ASS, took the opportunity to express his heartfelt thanks to the school.
After the ceremony, the graduates enjoyed champagne and canapés together, which was organized by the BF P Mittelstufe.
THANK YOU ALL AND ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR PROFESSIONAL FUTURE!
