Sustainability – but how?

How can I make a dry shampoo from cinnamon powder? What are beeswax cloths? And how do I build my own insect hotel? You have the questions, we – the educator class FSS20 A of the Alice Salomon School – have the answers!

Sustainability in everyday life

As part of our class project “Sustainability”, we go in search of clues as to how we can incorporate sustainability into our everyday lives.

We are working on the project as part of learning module 14 “Regional-specific module”. In this learning module, we were able to decide together as a class group from the outset which topic we would like to work on as a project. Due to the topicality of the subject, we opted for sustainability.
Because we are the educators of tomorrow – and see it as our task to set an example of a sustainable way of life for children.

How is that supposed to work?

Visit our Padlet, where you can learn with exciting videos, audios and detailed instructions:

  • How to make dry shampoo from just a few ingredients.
  • What beeswax wipes are and what they can be useful for.
  • How you can create a habitat for insects with self-built insect hotels.
  • … and much more!

And now it’s time: Get the ingredients, look in your cupboards, try it out! We look forward to any feedback in our Padlet about how you liked the information and recipes.
